В работе академической сессии о передовых международных практиках подготовки переводчиков в рамках основной деловой программы Форума "Глобальный диалог" примет участие Мария Мануэла Фернандес Санчес, профессор переводческого ф-та Университета Гранады (Гранада, Испания)Mariela Fernández Sánchez is a Senior Lecturer in Translation Studies at the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting at the University of Granada.
Her main area of research interest is interpreting didactics and history and theory of translation and interpreting. In the domain of interpreting didactics her work has been focused from the beginning in the development of teaching materials to assist the training in new forms of interpreting (other than conference interpreting), such as liaison and dialogue interpreting. She has also published widely in the areas of translation theory and interpreting history.
She is currently interested in emerging forms of mediation and intervention in the field of professional translation and interpreting. Her work investigates the increasingly active role that academic scholars and universities have to play to enhance the employability and professionalism in this new economic paradigm.
